This is definitely a wine with pedigree with 92 points from Robert Parker who writes: "Pretty notes of smoke, mint, licorice and peaches emerge from the 1999 Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru. This medium-bodied, refined Chardonnay possesses notable complexity in its layered, refined personality. Here, too, the wine offers superb length and finesse."

what did you think of the bubbles? I absolutely love that bottle, toasty, citrus notes, hints of espresso bean as it approaches room temp, shortbread. mmmmmmmmm.
